HorseShoe Crabs Spawn on East Point Lighthouse Beach

I discovered these Horseshoe crabs spawning on East Point lighthouse beach after I was photographing  birds at Matts Landing Wildlife Management reserve.I was amazed to see the beach covered in Horseshoe crabs and seagulls this was a first for me, after returning home and doing a little research on the internet I found that they usually spawn around the end of May beginning of June I am unsure if being almost a month early is an unusual occurrence or an exceptable time frame. If you would like to add to blog please feel free. It was a sight to see.
