COPY RIGHT VIOLATION

Recently my rights were violated, by someone who was using my Images (posting on the internet, printing ) without purchasing a usage agreement, This is grounds to file a lawsuit, you can't post any images on the internet that you do not own or have permission to use, then take them down and think all is forgiving! "It's like stealing and after you get caught then trying to give it back" If the work has to be removed by a third party (The site management) this shows refusal to cooperate. Also the removal of my business name shows the intent to defraud.

In most cases people are forgiving because it's not worth the time and effort to go to court because they didn't  Register their Images with US Copy Right Office in Washington, DC.

This individual was in fact informed of the violation and posted another image again and again on different sites. My Images are registered with the US. Copy Right Office in Washington DC. I  have been in contacted with a lawyer who specializes in Copy Right cases.
Registering your work makes a big difference in that you can be awarded punitive damages and lawyer fees.

Copy Right Theft is a federal offense!

It's recommended that you Register your images Quarterly if you have a lot of images to copy right, include the metadata. The processing time can be from 3 to more then 6 months to get your certificate.

I am a photographer and I want to make my living by selling prints and also usage agreements for books, websites, greeting card and more..   Not by filing lawsuits against offenders, but my hand is being forced to take such actions!     Enough is Enough!

Thanks for taking the time to read my rant... Looking forward to posting more Images of the Wild Life I encounter on my adventures.

Nature and Wild Life Photography Lens test Day 2

Some more shots from day 2

Nature and Wild Life Photography Lens test Day 2

The second day out with my Sigma 50-500mm zoom which we will call the Bigma as I have heard it called before. It was another day filled with adventure, as I discovered a little more of the strengths and weaknesses of the Bigma,  this image of the seagull impresses me because of the detail in the sand at 500mm shot at F-11 (notice the vignetting) 1/640, ISO 400 on a tripod that was a little shaky in the sand. I was shooting in Raw, enhancement where made and some sharpening for the 50% reduction in size. I like this lens a lot, you have to work with it though to get to know it, I'm looking forward to our long working relationship together. Will be posting more image later tonight. Thanks for stopping by.

Nature and Wild Life Photography

I have decided to focus my attention and photography on Nature and Wild Life also including Landscape and Seascapes. Although I'm taking a brake from people Photography I still have a strong passion for people and still think that our species is one of the most beautiful, the person themself sometimes are a bit overwhelming to deal with, I find as an Artist. I have always turned to Nature and Wildlife Photography to relax and I often go to the Beach to escape.

I added a Sigma 50-500mm lens with a 2x converter giving me 1000mm to my bag.
On my first day out with my new lens I caught this beautiful,
Double Crested Cormorant standing proud on a pole which appears to be the remains of a dock or bulkhead at the end of Reeds Beach, a spot I'm looking forward to visiting again soon.

My Images will be for sale in my Nature and Wild Life Gallery . All Images are available as Greeting Cards blank or with your custom personalized message.
contact me for more information.

While returning home from Reeds Beach, I decided to drive around to the hayfield behind our property that connects to some wetland woods, where the deer and wildlife are plentiful.
Not prepared! carrying my large lens without a tripod, which what felt like almost immediately a large hawk  flew from an overhead Tree, I  couldn't get a shot off, the field was full of deer including a large Buck that I managed to get quite a few of not so good shots of ( a very good lesson learned on my first day out with my new lens) I decided to leave before scaring off the deer and not getting any good shots for it. I turned to go back to my car, and there was a doe looking right at me, I looked down at my camera for a second and she was gone. Next time out I'm going to find my spot, sit still and wait for the shots to come to me. Oh yeah I did manage to get something other then the valuable lessons, I walked away with chiggers what fun they are I was lucky to only get around 20 bits it could have been a lot worse.. but you know all in all, I had a very good day. Thanks for stopping by. Comments welcomed as always.

You have to take time to notice the little things in life. While walking on the Higbee Beach I thought I saw the sand move and this little fellow stopped for a second or two and was gone.. There's so much to see if you just take the time..

Artist~ of the Performing Arts

This head shot is of Eric Zonk a multi talented Artist from Philadelphia. I feel the Haunting Glance is what I find most fascinating about this image, the make-up is awesome! Excellent job Eric. I finished the Image off with High End Fashion Retouching techniques. This is one of my favorite Images so far, I love the dark feel along with the color. Definitely a Star.. Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog I hope that you enjoy this work of Art, as much as I Do.
